The Traditional Music Studies Programme is a comprehensive introduction to Irish traditional music with a particular emphasis on the development of repertoire and musical skills for candidates of a beginner/intermediate standard of playing.

Music, Music Industry Studies, Performance Craft, Traditional Performance, Teamworking, Event Production, Communication, Work Experience

Entry Requirements:

Five passes in Leaving Certificate/LCVP or a merit in Leaving Certificate Applied or FETAC level 4 Certificate. The academic entry requirements may be waived for mature applicants (21+).

Certification:

FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Performing Arts Music (EPAMX).

Progression:

Graduates with a merit profile may apply for entry to the Higher National Diploma in Traditional Music Performance.
