Course Code PRH, Duration: 2 Years
This course is aimed at students who aspire to become professional musicians and who want
to learn about the Music Industry. This course creates a working environment in which students
can develop skills of self expression, musical composition, presentation and performance.
Live performances in the college and at city centre venues are an exciting and integral part
of the course

Leaving Certificate/LCVP with a minimum of two HC3 and three passes at ordinary level or FETAC Level 5 Certificate with a merit profile. Applicants will be required to do an audition and supply a demo on CD/Tape, instrumental or vocal. This recording may be a sole performance or as part of a group. The academic entry requirements may be wavied where outstanding talent is demonstrated at the audition and for mature applicants (21+).
BTEC Higher National Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance (Rock School)
Graduates may gain exemptions from one or two years of degree courses in the UK or continue performing with their band or as a solo act.
