BCFE Alumni Return To Learning
Course Code RTL, Duration: 1 Year
The Return to Learning course is a foundation course for adults. The aim of the course is to
give adults who left school early or who are a long time out of education the opportunity to
return to education and to participate in a year of learning and exploration. Students gain the
knowledge and skills necessary for further study.
Course Content:
Communications, Computer Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Social Studies, Business Studies, Personal Effectiveness and Art.
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements for the course. Interest, commitment and ability to benefit are the only requirements.
Certification:
FETAC Level 4 Award / Certificate of Achievement Level 5
Progression:
Students who successfully complete RTL may apply for entry to FETAC level 5 and Higher National Diploma courses in BCFE and other Colleges of Further Education. Students may also apply for entry to University Access courses.
